2007

Creation of Street Surfing France

At the end of 2007, Gilles Martin created the company Street Surfing France, distributing the brand exclusively in France.

2010

Street Surfing France becomes SDG Distribution

The company becomes SDG Distribution and develops its activity by positioning itself on a multi-brand and multi-discipline market.

2011

Opening to new Sports

SDG Distribution extends its range: Freestyle Scooter, Skateboard and Longboard are the new disciplines of SDG.

2011

Fast and Effective Logistic Service

Development of logistic skills and implementation of a BtoB interface allowing customers a simple and fast access to the company's complete offer.

2013

Opening of the UK branch

SDG is highly expertised in using new technologies to distribute its human strengths to strategic places enabling easy access to its customers and to be responsive to various market evolutions.

2014

Creation of SDG's marketing and communication unit

The evolution of SDG's offer is inevitable to develop its brands in the European sector. In close collaboration with the brands, the Marketing department develops brand images and multiplies actions on the territory.

2015

Opening of the Cycle branch: Bicycle and Motocross

SDG Distribution extends its range and involvement in extreme cycle sports. Start MTB with NS Bikes, a brand specialized in DIRT and downhill bikes. Start in Motocross with the brand EVS SPORTS.

2016

New graphic identity, new B2B and new SDG websites

The graphic identity is reworked as well as the implementation of a new BtoB site, always with the aim of offering an efficient and pleasant interface to our customers.

2017

Moving to Hossegor

The company moves to Hossegor, the European cradle of extreme sports. Geographic location adapted to the activity, the company moves to larger premises: 2500 m2 in logistics and 400 m2 of office space.

2018

New acquisition in the Surf sector

Opening of the Surf branch with the brands DHD Surf, Prolite and Waal.

2020

Major European Actor on the Market

The company is one of the European leaders in the disciplines of Freestyle Scooter & Skateboard/Surfskate. At the same time SDG takes a prominent place in the cycle and more precisely the MTB Dirt and Gravel Bikes.

2021

40 Premium Brands

With more than 40 top-of-the-range brands, the company continues its development by maintaining a strong proximity with its suppliers, its customers and the same passion for its brands.
